Uhh, hello.

Excuse the inevitable attraction towards living objects with a fag stick in hand (cue picture to the left). For me, it's been long since I sipped one of those.. bad, retard-baby-producing things. [That was dedicated to Midg.] But, 'nuff of that shit, on to things else! Slow progress on alleged channeling of a hedonist. The week, though, was awesome in the highest levels: spoiled with a birthday lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp & Co. with Madre/Sis. Afterward, at night, dinner with Le Gang at TGI Friday's.. where I single-handedly tarnished my own dignity.. for a whipped cream-topped ice-cream. The things I do for Godsent desserts, sigh. Later in the night, the lads decided to get some flavored smoke in their lungs instead of the cancer-producing ones (loud cough). Hours on that one, then headed to Em's, where I crashed on her couch to wait for the 4am kick-off of Birmingham vs. Blackburn. People who care about Birmingham are a rare occurrence, hence might as well I give a shit.. and watch 'em rake a 5th straight win, makin' history. That's not a f-cking disgrace at all. Aha, slow news week indeed. Apologies on that. Sent in pictures for the Spring/Summer 2010 booklet. Tripod and I equals to picture fail. It's a bit of a mess with deadlines and (ahem) camera incapabilities of mine but, fingers crossed for kick-ass outcomes, si?

And, because I am lifeless (but, still, awesome), couple months ago I compressed love towards the Chels in an e-mail, sent to the official magazine's editor. It's been far long hence I forgot about it, truth be told. A-ha. He.. replied. With an exciting notion. The normal reaction to this would be imploding into a catastrophic dance machine. And that I did. It's still far off the real deal, though. Off to a two-day vacation with The Blood-Bound on the weekend. Pictorials later, if I appear non-shit. Rare thing. A-ha. No pictorials then. Thinking off hopping on the coach for a night in Singapore next month, to catch, like, the Mr. Andrew Bird. I am quite the fangirl of his stuff, with his kooky instruments (and self, at that) but the depressing thing is none of the friends dig Mr. Andrew Bird. Most of 'em would scurry off to catch Paramore, or somethin' of that nature. Not Andrew Bird, not Cat Power, or St. Vincent. Thank God, Kings of Convenience are comin' here later. Dude pulling the strings on this magic thing are working on 65 Days of Static. Fingers, toes, legs crossed. Oh, and f-ck all else, I can't effin' wait for Sherlock Holmes. Guy Ritchie, and Robert Downey? Match made in cinematic heaven. Right, that's about it..

In the recent event (to be exact, beberapa jam yang lalu) of keluar berjalan-jalan menemani kawan-kawan membeli barang, aku yang pada asalnya sekadar ingin menunjuk jalan dan melihat-lihat bandaraya, telah turut sama terjebak menghabiskan beberapa keping duit kertas.

Hala tuju lokasi yang pertama ialah Insa-dong, tetapi apabila barang yang dicari-cari tidak ditemui, aku berjaya menghidupkan mentol lampu pijar khayalan di atas kepala yang menandakan aku menerima ilham dan idea yang bernas. Aku telah menyarankan agar kami bertiga menapak sejauh 3 blok, meredah angin di bawah suhu takat beku, untuk ke kedai buku terbesar di Seoul, yakni Kyobo Bookstore.

Sesampainya di sana, aku sarankan kepada rakan-rakan berdua agar mencari apa yang mereka mahu cari, dan aku pula menapak secara solo. Aku menjalankan ritual seperti yang aku lakukan di kedai muzik tempoh hari (dua entri yang lepas), singgah dari satu rak ke satu rak. Mata aku ligat. Pertama sekali aku ke susunan rak bestsellers. Oh, ada buku Dan Brown yang baru. Mungkin menarik, tetapi KIV dulu. Lagipun hardcover dan bersaiz agak besar. Leceh juga jika mahu dibawa bersiar-siar. Kemudian aku toleh ke rak sebelah. Haram jadah. "Ni apahal susun novel bersiri Twilight secara pukal kat rak ni?" Keluh kesah hati aku sendirian. Lalu aku beredar dari rak itu dengan penuh rasa amarah.

Aku membelek satu persatu buku di rak fiksyen. Tiada yang menarik. Aku ke rak novel yang based-on film atau film based on novel, mana-mana lah kan, dan aku belek lagi. Time Traveler's Wife? Muvinya menarik juga tetapi rajenkah aku membaca kesah yang aku sudah tahu? Runsing juga. Lama jugalah aku beredar dari satu rak ke satu rak. Hinggalah salah seorang kawan aku tadi meminta tolong aku mencari buku yang dia ingin cari. Lalu aku pergi ke rak yang terbabit. Dan tiba-tiba mata aku tertumpu ke satu novel.

Rasa seperti tertarik-tarik pula mahu membaca karya penulis Perancis ini. Namun sudah tentulah aku membeli versi yang sudah dialih bahasa, kerana seperti membuang tebiat pula jika membeli buku berbahasa Perancis, kan? Tak pernah-pernah pulak aku belajar bahasa Perancis. Aku belek dan baca beberapa halaman pertama. Macam menarik. Dan tanpa disedari, aku sudah memegang resit yang diberi oleh akak cashier. Oh well..

Kemudian, dalam perjalanan keluar (masih di dalam Kyobo Bookstore yang sangat besar), kami melalui sebuah kedai muzik. "Omaigat," bisik hati kecilku. Lalu aku meluru masuk. Aku memang pantang tempat-tempat sebegini. Rambang mata melihat susunan CD, DVD dan Blu-ray. Aku belek-belek dari satu rak ke satu rak, dari satu huruf ke satu huruf. Mungkin penemuan paling menarik di situ ialah ada terjualnya dua album dari kugiran Mocca (alah, kugiran Indonesia tu). Kagum yang agak besar lah. Selamba je jual kat Korea. Artis Malaysia entah bila nak jual album kat sini? Penemuan lain tidak berapa menyerlah maka aku malas mahu ulas. Oh, mungkin album baru Norah Jones edisi terhad 2 CD adalah yang paling menarik, tetapi masih gagal membuat aku mahu membeli.

Pencarian aku berakhir apabila aku tiba di rak Blu-ray disc. Fuh. Inilah dia yang aku cari selama ini.

Incubus - Look Alive (Blu-ray disc, video High Def tahu!).

Maka terbanglah beberapa keping duit kertas, figuratifli, kerana aku membayar menggunakan kad debit. Dem son wang simpanan ku. But takpelah. I deserve all this. Anggap sebagai hadiah diri sendiri sempena tamat belajar. Yes dapat hadiah!

Maka inilah dia bukti pembelian yang nyata:

Gambar dari kiri, arah pusingan jam: plastik kedai roti, papan kekunci komputer, rimot (remote) monitor/HDTV, novel baru beli, Blu-ray disc baru beli, jam tangan paling buruk dalam dunia. Yang warna putih tersembul sedikit belah atas kanan tu controller PS3. Kalau tiada PS3 memang aku tak beli lah Blu-ray disc, kan?

Oleh itu jika aku tidak membalas sebarang mesej atau nukilan di Yahoo Messenger, anggaplah sama ada aku sedang:

1. Membaca novel

2. Menonton video Incubus

3. Kedua-dua di atas.

Mungkin yang tiada ketika ini cuma teman untuk sama-sama menonton video Incubus. Dem son.

But anyway, last but not least (cewah), selamat bercuti panjang dan selamat tahun baru Hijrah!

OK I'm not sure if THIS was the playlist I played... I think it is this one... yes.. I'm pretty sure its this one.. sebab rasa masa otw ke KB itu hari aku takde add2 lagu2 lain... so setakat 26 songs ni sajer.
